Hardie®Plank Cladding

Whether you're planning to renovate the exterior of your home or considering cladding as part of a new build, then Hardie®Plank fibre cement cladding is the perfect solution to traditional timber or PVCu.  It’s low maintenance, weather resistant, fire resistant, lightweight, eco-friendly, and the facade of choice for builders and homeowners alike!

HardiePlank Fibre Cement Cladding

Hardie®Plank cladding is engineered from a mixture of high-quality Portland cement, sand and cellulose fibre, offering the ultimate in fire, moisture, rot and pest resistance, plus it won’t shrink or split.  It’s thinner and lighter, yet stronger and easier to handle than most alternative building materials, ensuring new-builds move along faster - with less hold ups and complications.  The product has a life expectancy of 60 years, and comes with a 15-year warranty.

HardiePlank Fibre Cement Cladding

Hardie®Plank comes in 21 colours and two textures (cedar and smooth).  We currently stock the following 5 colours in cedar finish at our Bordon branch, as well as matching metal corners, edge coating and screws, but additional colours can be ordered upon request.

When it comes to cost, timber is usually seen as a budget choice for exterior cladding.  However, if you factor in all costs during the lifespan of timber cladding, such as maintenance, preservation, paint etc, it can end up costing much more than anticipated.  Fibre cement, on the other hand, can be a little bit more expensive to buy, depending on your chosen timber alternative, however factoring in the 60 years life expectancy and the extremely low maintenance, the total cost of ownership of fibre cement cladding will nearly always be lower than that of timber cladding.
