Delivery Driver

Location: Haslemere, GU27 3DG

Salary: c. £29,000

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 7.30am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri; 8.00am - 12.00 noon alternate Saturdays

We are looking to recruit a Delivery Driver to join our team at our busy Haslemere branch!

As a Delivery Driver, you will be a vital part of our team, utilising your core skill in driving to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods whilst representing the company in a professional manner. Your experience will be essential in navigating routes and handling deliveries with care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Making timely and accurate deliveries to our customers in a 3.5T van and providing an efficient and dependable delivery service
• Communicating with customers in a pleasant and friendly manner
• Following H&S legislation and ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Operating a forklift truck and picking customer orders
• Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment and maintaining high standards
• Associated yard work

What we need from you:

• Full clean driving licence
• Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks
• A positive motivated attitude, organised and friendly
• Strong communication skills
• Committed to delivering a high-quality service
• Forklift licence (preferred)
