    Location: Bordon, GU35 9QE

    Contract: Full Time, Permanent

    Hours: 7.30am - 5.00pm Mon - Fri; 8.00am - 12.00 noon alternate Saturdays

     

    We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team.

     

    As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in the sale of building materials to new and existing customers, so proven sales experience in a similar role is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with customers. You will serve as the main point of contact, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to enhance their experience with our products and service.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
    • Identify and maximise opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products
    • Prepare and follow up customer quotations in a swift manner
    • Monitor margins, manage and negotiate customer terms
    • Be highly pro-active using every opportunity to close or increase a sale
    • Give excellent customer service both over the counter and by phone

     

    What we need from you:

     

    • Proven sales experience in the building supplies industry is essential
    • Excellent telephone manner, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Confident and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
    • Highly sales driven, comfortable cold calling and closing the sale
    • Able to build effective working relationships with customers
