Whitehill & Bordon Remembers 2018

Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust collaborated with local schools and community groups on a special Remembrance project to mark 100 years since the end of World War 1.  As part of the commemorative programme for the former military garrison town, Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust worked alongside our Bordon branch, the Future Skills Centre, Whitehill Town Council and the Royal British Legion to give local schools and community groups the resources and equipment to create life size figures to remember those who gave their lives during the war.

Thanking us for our donation of materials for the project, Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust said that due to our generosity, 10 silhouettes had been created and were standing proudly in different locations around Whitehill & Bordon marking this important anniversary and honouring the fallen.
