Our Bordon branch was pleased to donate some Scottish Cobbles for a rock stall at Woodlea Primary School's Summer Fayre on 19 May 2018.
Friends of Woodlea School (FOWS) wrote to thank us for our donation, as follows:
"We approached Coomers regarding a donation of rocks for use at our Summer Fayre and were delighted at the positive response from them. Not only did Coomers donate the rocks free of charge they also delivered them to site and in a larger quantity than we anticipated. This donation meant that we could not only offer a no charge painted rocks stall for the visitors to our Summer Fayre but we were also able to offer our 2018 year 6 leavers the opportunity to decorate a rock to leave behind once they had moved on, and have decided to create an ongoing project each year to allow our children to always leave a part of themselves at Woodlea.
The team at Coomers always display a wonderful sense of community spirit in supporting local events and causes and we are thankful to them for their continued support."
We are delighted that the stall and rock decorating was such a success, and thank FOWS for providing the photo of the year 6 leavers rocks and the brilliant "thank you" rock!
