During the summer of 2017, 1st Camelsdale Scout Group built a tree bog (a type of composting loo) thanks to generous support from our Haslemere branch, who donated most of the raw materials for the project including timber, plastic corrugated roofing and a gate.
Rebecca Jones, Chair, 1st Camelsdale Scout Group said: "We are enormously grateful for the support from Coomers, without which our project would have taken much longer to get off the ground and complete because of the fundraising that would have been involved. We now have a nearly complete campground loo, which will be much appreciated by our Scouts, Cubs and Beavers on the many weekends they camp at our HQ on Marley Lane. A big thank you to the Coomers team for supporting our project."
The photo shows the almost complete project, with just a few finishing touches to add such as the guttering and sink.
