The fibo Collect machine is a fully automated self-service batching plant that allows customers to collect the exact amount of material they need with just a push of a button.
With orders starting as little as 0.25m3 this solution eliminates the need for customers to mix themselves on-site, wait at local ready-mix plants, or deal with minimum order delivery charges and waste disposal problems.
THE PROCESS
Our four-step collection process is simple:
- Starting by placing an order at the till.
- Receive a barcode to use at the fibo Collect touch screen terminal.
- Position your vehicle or tub under the conveyor belt.
- Scan your barcode and confirm your order to start mixing.
Small loads of under 0.8m3 can be mixed and poured in under five minutes, while larger loads vary.

RECIPE VARIETY
The dynamic nature of the fibo Collect means we can offer a variety of standard and bespoke recipes for concrete, mortar, or screed. The solution gives customers control over the workability of their material.
Retarder is an additive that is combined with mortar to slow down its setting time, while air entrainer is added to increase the amount of air trapped in the mortar, making it more workable and giving more frost protection. Adding a retarder to the mortar can extend the workability for lasting longer.
COLLECTION METHODS
Customers can collect their concrete, mortar, or screed in two ways:
- On the back of a trailer or flatbed truck
- Pour into mortar tubs (0.25m3 each) which can then be loaded onto a truck or van at the branch.
