It can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally making it incredibly versatile and giving a different look based on orientation. Hardie® Plank is offered in ship lap, open joint, or hit and miss styles.

Hardie® Plank family products are also more able to withstand fire and extreme weather events compared to cedar and uPVC cladding, adding that extra level of protection and security.

Hardie® Plank family products don't need high maintainance, painted timber requires preparing and repainting every 5 years and stained timber needs to be reapplied every 3 years in order to prevent rot, cracking and peeling. Hardie® Plank family products only need to be washed with a hose and soapy water if and when that is necessary to upkeep its appearance.
