In early 2023 we were pleased to present Phyllis Tuckwell with £3,025.23.  The local hospice care charity had been our 2022 charity partner, and funds were raised at our corporate events and challenges throughout the year.

Phyllis Tuckwell have provided supportive and end of life care for patients and their families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, in West Surrey and North-East Hampshire, for over 40 years.  Every day they support over 250 patients, relatives and carers in their own homes, in the community, at the Hospice in Farnham and at the Beacon Centre in Guildford.

Tom Enser, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at Phyllis Tuckwell, said: “We would like to thank everyone at Coomers for choosing us as their charity partner for 2022 and for raising this amazing amount of money. £3,025 is enough to cover the costs of one of our Hospice Care at Home nurses for nearly a month.  These nurses visit patients who are spending their last days at home, providing compassionate nursing care and emotional support.”

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all our staff, customers, and friends/family who kindly donated or participated in any way towards raising these funds for this important local charity.

This was the thirteenth year that we've adopted an annual charity, and to date nearly £48,000 has been raised by the company for some very worthy causes.
