Standard Hardboard is an excellent board for all types of temporary structures and packaging

One face is smooth while the other is coarse and textured which helps to secure the board to the substrate, however a ring shanked nail or staple will still be required

It is also very suited for protection during construction, because of its durability, being impact resistant and because it stays in place well, thanks to the textured mesh pattern on one side.
