- Comprising of 1 Live (Brown) and 1 Neutral (Blue) sheathed conductor, and a Earth which is of the CPC type (Circuit Protective Conductor) which is bare
- The 2.5mm conductors are solid with the earth being 1.5mm
- Rated in normal conditions at around 24 Amps although when wired as a ring configuration the capacity rises to above 32 Amp
- 2.5mm is commonly used for ring main circuits
